There's Something Wrong With Me

I think there's something wrong with me. I'm happily playing Chrono Trigger and GTA Chinatown Wars on my Colbalt Blue Nintendo DS lite, but at the same time I'm finding myself wanting ANOTHER DS - the Nintendo DSi. What is this hold that Nintendo has over me where I MUST buy EVERY incarnation of their portable consoles (except the Virtual Boy)?

If this the same urge that Apple fans go through every 6 months or so with every new announcement? Eerily familiar...

Must... resist... save money. Aww fuck Black Matte DSi in cart. No! I must resist the urge - that is until Nintendo announces a must have DSi-only game.

What the heck Microsoft?

The Xbox360 design will never win awards of any kind (unless there's a reward for most unreliable video game console of all time) but why does Microsoft save the nice colors for their devkits?

Sure the hard drive enclosure looks ghastly, but it's a pretty color at the least. Even the pattern on the side does something to improve the visual appeal of standing the console vertically.
